The following amendments has been made to Article 10 titled “Prohibitions” of the Regulation Regarding The Activities, Operations And Audit Principles Of The Data Storage Organization (“DSO”) published in the Official Gazette dated 19.09.2018 and numbered 30540 (“Regulation”) with the Regulation Regarding The Amendments Of The Regulation On The Activities, Operations And Audit Principles Of The Data Storage Organization published in the Official Gazette dated 15.10.2020 and numbered 31275:
- DSO executives and staff and their spouses and their children under custody cannot trade and take positions in the markets where the transactions reported to the DSO are concerned. The exception to this rule is regulated under the Article 10/2 of the Regulation.
- DSO executives and all staff shall sell or transfer their assets and positions which they own/have due to their trading transactions in the markets in which the transactions are notified to the Data Storage Organization within the thirty days from the commencement of their term of office, except those they own/have in relation to instruments issued by the CBRT, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and asset leasing companies established within the framework of the Law on Regulation of Public Finance and Debt Management dated 28/3/2002 and numbered 4749, as well as investments funds and pension funds.
