Pursuant to the Presidential Circular No. 2025/6 published in the Official Gazette dated 10.05.2025, the 2030 Industry and Technology Strategy (“2030 Strategy Policy”) is published on the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The 2030 Strategy Policy aims to transform Türkiye’s industrial and technology ecosystem into a structure that produces higher added value, is innovation-oriented, and has completed its digital and green transformation.
The Presidential Circular No. 2025/6 on the 2030 Industry and Technology Strategy published in the official gazette dated 10.05.2025 was published on the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The 2030 Industry and Technology Strategy was published within the framework of the objectives and policies in the Twelfth Development Plan (2024-2028), the Annual Program of the Presidency and other policy documents, taking into account global trends and the existing competencies of our country. The 2030 Strategy Policy is built on five main objectives defined as High Technology, Digital Economy, Green Transformation, Global Integration and Structural Transformation.
It is aimed at developing and support digital transformation technologies, communication infrastructure, cyber security, block chain and financial technologies, cloud computing and open source solutions.
In the digital transformation process, cloud computing technologies should be considered as a strategic priority and international cooperation should be established in this field. With the regulations to be made to ensure data privacy and security, it is aimed that our country will attain the status of a sufficient and safe country in terms of data storage and international transfer. Through international strategic alliances, a large cloud computing infrastructure can be established and this infrastructure can be made available to other countries. In this framework, Large Scale Data Centers with Cloud Services has been identified as one of the 30 priority areas to be supported under the HIT-30 High Investment Program.
It is stated that support and investment programs will continue to increase with sustainable industry and competitive trade policies within the framework of the European Green Deal, the Border Carbon Regulation Mechanism and the Green Transformation.
